I am a Mum to a gorgeous globe trotting Daughter, 2 spoilt cats and a lovely chocolate Labrador. When I am not spending time with them, my partner or doing the work I adore, I love playing netball, Scuba diving, Hockey, Hiking, Golf, Kayaking and going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.
I like to keep healthy and fit and being outdoors as much as possible.
I consider myself extremely fortunate to be able to work with people of all ages from all different walks of life. It is my greatest achievement (only second to being a mum) to be able to help people change or improve their lives.
My therapist career started when I trained to be a Counsellor in 2000 and from there, I trained at the Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis, developing a range of different approaches, and I am proud to say I am qualified to practice:
As well as a Therapist, I am also a Supervisor, Tutor and speak publicly about 'Working with young people'.
I have been coached by Paul McKenna, John de Valle, Michael Neill and Dr Richard Bandler and I have studied Child Psychology and many other related subjects.
I am most fortunate to be mentored and supervised by Terence Watts who is a senior Clinician and highly respected Author Worldwide.
I belong to the APHP which is a renowned Institute and I am committed to my Continued Professional Development.
Working with me will provide you with an honest straight forward approach to take you from where you are now to where you want to be. As soon as I know where you want to go, we will work together to get you there. No gimmicks, no fluffiness just honest therapy that works.
My lovely office provides a safe, quiet, confidential space to explore what it is you need. My philosophy has always been to help anyone who comes to see me achieve what they want as soon as possible but always mindful and respectful of individual needs. I pride myself on helping you move on to where you want to be as soon as you are ready.

A typical hypnosis session would involve you sitting in a comfy chair, feet up, eyes closed and the art of simply listening. Because hypnosis is perfectly natural, a hypnotic state can be safely induced by me speaking to you.
Some people feel more relaxed than they have ever felt before, some people feel, well nothing really. It will all depend on you. Regardless of what you do or don’t feel, the subconscious mind is still listening and changes can still be accepted. You do remain conscious AT ALL TIMES, it is pain free and you will feel wide awake by the time you leave my office. Many people have reported that they find Hypnosis really quite amazing!!
Anybody who wants to allow themselves the possibility of change can be hypnotised because all that hypnosis is, in a fashion is Self hypnosis, because you get to decide if YOU want to relax or not! Using the power of your mind to induce a level of relaxation that is comfortable for you is extremely empowering.
This is a technique I like to teach all my clients as the benefits are numerous – it is a great Stress Buster, can be used to manage pain, aids sleep, as well as being incredibly relaxing.
